Hannover
In Hannover 10 facilities took part and collected over 12,000 Green Footprints.
Their press release says:
It is a far way to Qatar. About 3700 miles (5953 kilometres). But the way to a global environmental awareness is much farther. So it totally fits that the kids from Hannover collected more than 12,000 symbolic Green Footprints. Children from all over Europe take part in this campaign, that is supported by the city of Hannover."Do not chop so many trees", Sophie (8) from the elementary school Entenfang claims. The children wrote down their wishes on small posters: "I wish that we do not produce so much cars" or "More open space! More electric cars!"
Wallenhorst
The small climate protester of the St.Bernhard-Schule in Rulle participated for the 7th time! 11 classes with 256 pupils collected 3422 Footprings from 11 to 15 June 2012 - a noticable number, because last year they collected 2904 Green Footprints.
No wonder that they proudly handed over their Footprints to the Mayor.

On 8th October the elementary school startet their 2nd week "Go to school by foot"! After the great success in early summer, they wanted to convince the first grader and their parents of the healthy school way. Every morning in this week, the children could stick green and red dots to visualize the "green" ways to school. So they collected 2262 Green Footprints.
The organiser of the school wrote to us:
Again it was a very succesful activity that has found its first copycat (elementars school Düshorn)

Today we have the closing event with all classes of our school and calculated the total number of collected Green Footprints over the past 14 days... Additionally, we sang the "Green Footprints Song" and a class read a poem. We all enjoyed the campaign!
