At the Peutinger-Gymnasium, the organisation and dissemination of the campaign was made bei the eco-manager of the classes.

They made posters to appeal to join the campaign and to make cardboard feet for the politicians.

We also received wish feet for the politicians - thank you very much!

In der Martinschule in Bamberg wurden 1850 Meilen gesammelt.

Heinersreuth

In Heinersreuth, 16 pupils, 52 kindergarten children and 10 nursery children took part.

Together they collected 483 Green Footprints, 26 Blue Footprints and 39 Red Footprings for Katar.

Moreover, they send us their traffic survey that showed that their most used way has no sidewalk! On one spot they had to wait 5 minutes to cross the street - Little wonder they prefer crossing the street at the traffic lights!

Herrsching am Ammersee

In Herrsching the children of the "Kinderhaus St. Johannes" where very busy and collected 1107 Green Footprints and received a certificate, that was handed over by the mayor. You can see the newspaper article here (pdf, 150 kb, german only)

Landshut

The kindergarten of the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bayern Süd ind Landshut collected a few weeks and promised to take part in 2013.

Maierhöfen

The class 2b collected 307 Green Footprings and 67 Blue Footprints. As they got into the issue of local food, they collected many Red Footprints: 351. In total, they collected 724 Green Footprints.

They write:

The best of the week was the handing over of the certificate by Mayor Schwarz and the award ceremony for the busiest Footprints collectors by Mr Hölzel... This kind of appreciation was very important for the pupils...The parents supported the class in a brilliant way. Thanks a lot for this!

Neumarkt

Here the pupils collected 2011 right up to and just after the deadline for Durban, therfor not all their Green Footprints made it to South Africa but 9,587 are traveling on to Qatar this year.

Regensburg

Energy was an issue for one whole year in the kindergarten St. Christophorus.

The children participated in the ZOOM campaign because mobility was the final topic in that year. In one week they collected 474 Green Footprints.

As conclusion of their activity they organised a car free family day.

Some children cut out their footprints and draw something on it that deserves protection for them.

Vöhringen-Illerzell

The Kita Pusteblume sent us the following news:

We are only a small day care centre with only 50 children, and collected Green Footprints from 15 to 26 October. Unfortunately, we collected not many Footprints, but at least we can report 248 Green Footprints.

Warmensteinach
