In August, the children collected Footprints for 2 weeks. They collected 626 Green Footprints! And also 36 Blue Footprints and 53 Yellow Footprints.

The director wrote to us:

It was very exciting and interessting how the children engaged. The parents walked, they drove by bus to the city and by train for excursion.

We had water as an issue and we tried to work sustainable and made a water filter together.

The children's conclusion was:
- We are much fitter when we walk or travel by scooter.
- When we do not pollute the air, we can live longer.
- The animals are happy when we save their and our nature!

As you can see in the photos, the children hat lot of fun during their excursion. Not only playing in the mud but they had also everything with them to make their footprints (and if you take a closer look, you can see pieces of forest floor here and there...)

They counted the stamps as Footprints and collected 1778 Green Footprints.

The director wrote:

Together we walked 896 km. A colleague calculated how much CO2 we saved - 140kg. We showed the children, how much sand 140kg is.We filled the sandbox with 14 buckets with 10l each. We were very surprised how much it really is.
The "Schubidus" became environment detectives. There was a light detective how took care of the light. The water detective controlled the water plug and the trash detective collected the trash in the garden and put them in the trash cans.
