In the "Schule am Erlenbach" in Frankfurt Nieder Erlenbach the pupils drew "Blühende Straßen/flowering streets"
And of course they also collected Green Footprints: the 171 pupils made it to 2853 Grüne Meilen in one week.

Friedrichsdorf
15 531 Grüne Meilen - this is the result of the Boys and Girls from four Primary Schools, the Kinderhauses Wirbelwind and the Protestant kindergarten.
Proudly the presented their results at a little ceremony at Hardtwaldschule to Jörg Naumann from the City of Friedrichsdorf.

Gudensberg-Obervorschütz
Each year, when the new school year begins the Grundschule Obervorschütz makes it's „Grüne Meilen – Woche“ /Green Footprint Week.
2013 the about 100 Schüler and Schülerinnen collected 1161 Kindermeilen : 1028 green, 74 blue and 59 red footprints.
And those Footprint-to-the-Politicians they sent us , too.

Heppenheim
For the fifth time the primary school pupils collected "climate feet" and handed them over to their Mayor Rainer Burelbach. The boys and girls from Christophorusschule, Schlossschule, Eichendorffschule, Nibelungenschule and Konrad-Adenauer-Schule collected 10 120 Green Footprints. They proudly handed them over to the mayor and everybody received a certificate as a thank you. The mayor answered the children's question on climate and environment protection and offered apples, pears and carrots to the children. |

Runkel-Steeden
The "Schule am Sonnenhang" in Steeden organises a "Got by foot to school"-Week in spring and autumn. In spring, the 65 children collected 2357 Green Footprints and in autum 1940 Green Footprints, that makes 4297 - great!
The principal wrote us:
As we participated for several years and the children and parents know the activity week and are very engaged. We determine the winning class and hand out certificates, that is a great motivation for the children!
