Creative competition to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the ZOOM – Kids on the Move! campaign

Since 2002 the ZOOM – Kids on the Move! campaign opens up new insights to the world to children at a young age and introduces the subjects of climate change, sustainability and globalisation.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the ZOOM – Kids on the Move! campaign, Climate Alliance is holding a creative competition: children are invited to design their own version of the ZOOM – Kids on the Move! logo and to add their own ideas for climate protection. The best logo designs will be presented with the Green Footprints at the UN Climate Change Conference in Bonn and handed over to the politicians. Climate Alliance will also reward the children from the most creative group with an A2 print of their logo design.

Here’s how it works:

Children of all age groups draw or paint a logo design for the ZOOM – Kids on the Move! campaign on a poster (min. A2/max. A0). The only requirements are that a globe and the “little climate protectors” themselves appear on the poster.

  • Kindergarten groups and schoolchildren up to the age of 6 can additionally paint or draw on the poster how they want to implement climate protection in their group/class.
  • Schoolchildren aged 7–8 can add climate protection ideas that they could implement at their school to the poster and what support their need from the school and municipality.
  • Schoolchildren aged 9–11 can include their personal climate protection goals and call on the participants in the UN Climate Change Conference to support them with concrete measures and to define and implement specific national and international goals.

Please submit your poster together with the full address of the kindergarten/school along with details of the group/class teacher by 05.10.2017 to:

Klima-Bündnis / Climate Alliance, “15 years of Green Footprints”, Galvanistr. 28, 60486 Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

We wish all climate protectors both young and old lots of fun and the best of luck!
