In Germany over 46,000 children in more than 300 schools were ZOOMing in - more than ever before!
Together they collected 770,794 Grüne Meilen- new German Record!

They collected Green Footprints, made huge posters with their results, cut out hundreds of paper footprints with their wishes and suggestions on them and handed them over to their city's mayors.

In Allensbach children in five schools and pre-schools collected together 3903 Grüne Meilen.
On the first two pictures you can see children from the Kinderhaus St. Nikolaus and the Montessori Kindergarten at the handing over of Green Footprints to the mayor and the aldermen.
The other pictures show Footprint-Posters from the Primary school and the Kindergarten Walzenberg.
All 12 classes of the Hans-Quick-Schule took part at the ZOOM-Climate Action 2010. The 230 pupils collected with fun and fantasy 3.480 "Grüne Meilen". As "quicklebendige Klimaschützer" ( wide-awaked Climate Actors) they worked in their classes on the issues of the ZOOM-Campaign. The teachers from the Hardtwaldschule in Friedrichsdorf-Seulberg extra wrote a new Version of the Green Footprint song. Have a look at it (pdf, German only, 262 kb) and sing along!
In Heppenheim 600 children from 6 primary schools collected together 11,413 Green Footprints in only five days! What a wonderful result!
From the 57 participating classes in Löhne we got 12,006 Green Footprints and alot of wonderful posters.

These are the children from the "Kindergarten Reblandstrasse", they collected 456 Green Footprints and sent us colourful footprints of their own feet.
