The pupils of the class 4d of the Textorschule collected 928 Green Footprints and sent us cardboard feet with their wishes to the politicians.
Additionally, they motivated their "twin class" in Haguenau, France, to collect, too.

Friedrichsdorf
For the schools in Friedrichsdorf, collecting Green Footprints has become a confirmed habit. In this year's campaign they collected a remarkable result: 14229 Green Footprints were handed over to the city counciller Norbert Fischer.

Heppenheim
On 4th October 2011, the representatives of all elementary schools handed over their collected Green Footprints to the mayor of the city of Heppenheim. The children collected 11089 Green Footprints during their activity week from 26th to 30th September. That is an awesome result! Their motto: WE ARE HEPPENHEIM. Small climate guarders walk to school!
"and additionally: small climate guards eat healthy, local and seasonal food. That saves transport kilometers and therewith much energy and CO2. This year, all children have taken care of a good school breakfast. For that they were complimented by the mayor, because the children of Heppenheim are a role model, even for adults."

Lampertheim
In Lampertheim twice as many Green Footprints were collected than last year - great!

We received the following report from the Lessingschule:
The 5th and 6th grades from the Lessing-Gymnasium together with elementary schools and kindergartens participated for the second time in the ZOOM campaign. The campaign aims to show the climate problem and to animate pupils to live sustainably. Because everyone can contribute to act responsible concerning the environment and climate protection!
During the activity week, the pupils agreed on coming to school in an ecofriendly way. So the pupils take the bus, train or bike or come to school by foot. For every ecofriendly way they get a "green footprint".
This year, the children collected 9030 Green Footprints. Together with all Footprints from elementary schools, kindergartens and private persons, the city of Lampertheim collected over 23000 Green Footprints!
