Koblenz

This year two elementary school classes collected Green Footprints.

The Grundschule St. Castor implemented the following activities during the activity week:

We were walking through Koblenz as traffic detectives and noticed that some sidewalks are only 50cm wideand that there are to little bikeways.

We have learned about school ways in other countries.

The children in our "twin school" in Namibia have to go up to 100km with a mule carriage. Because you can't drive this distance every day, the children stay there for weeks.

Trier

In Trier 5 daycare centres and 8 elementary schools collected 8023 Green Footprints.

Here are some photos of the handing over to Bernd Michels (member of the city council). In the group photo you can see one child from every participating school.

We received a nice Footprint-poster as well as many many colorful cardboard feed and wishes to the politicians. Additionally the children worte, what they know about different means of transport.

These beautiful cardboard feet are from the elementary school Quint in Trier
