The kindergarten St. Annen sent us the following letter:
We have collected 835 Green Footprints with 51 children from 2 groups!!
At the closing day we went to the local fruit farm where they pressed out the juice of the apples we picked. So we all could add a sticker for the bus ride!!

Lübeck
The DRK Kindergarten sent us the following letter:
The children of our daycare centre live in all districts of Lübeck. They have different distances to overcome. In the scope of our project "We need the world - the world needs us", we participated in the ZOOM Campaign. We were all excited. It became a ritual to discuss the issue in the daily children talk and to stick the stickers in the album. Children that have longer school ways, asked their parents to use parking spots that are farer away from the school so that they can walk for the environment. Some came by bus and not by car. The feedback we received stated that climate protection is an important issue for the children. The stickers were a great incentive!
Our result: We have counted forward runs and ways back on 5 week days. 13 chidlren participated, that counts up to 130 ways in 5 days. 87 times the car was left at home. We are very happy with the result and will continue saving the climate even without stickers. "We need the world - the world needs us"!
Neumünster
In the week from 19th to 23rd September, the children of the "Schatzkiste" collected 315 Green Footprints.

Pansdorf
The children of the kindergarten "Kleine Raupe" have collected over 1000 Green Fooptrints. They sent us photos and a nice letter (pdf, 35 kb, in German only) about their activities.

Ritterhude
The "Elefantengruppe" (elephant group) of the DRK kindergarten "Moormannskamp" in Ritterhude collected 186 Green Footprints. Here is a photo of the children.
Three years ago, we started participating in the ZOOM campaign.
As we had the material and the books, we did not order any new material and were not registered for this year. I hope our Footprints count nevertheless.
We have 18 children in our group.
