Allensbach

This year, too, various institutions in Allensbach took part in the children's collection campaign: the children of the Montessori-Kinderhaus collected 197 Green Footprints, while the primary school pupils reached the proud number of 2,901 within just one week. The 22 children of the Laufbus-campaign made an effort all year round and reached 2,914 Green Footprints.

The environmental awareness of the little climate heroes was also praised in a press release: "The children in the various facilities (...) again knew a lot about the effects of car traffic, exotic fruit and vegetables, as well as electricity consumption on CO2 emissions. They are aware of the impact of frequent car journeys on the greenhouse effect and the children keep emphasising that they would like to do without a car on routes that can be easily travelled on foot or by scooter/bike."

The remarkable overall result of 6,435 Green Footprints was presented to the Children's Agenda Officer in the Montessori Children's House and announced by Mayor Friedrich at a local council meeting. The strong message of the children will be passed on by the local politicians to those of their colleagues who will participate in the international climate conference in Santiago de Chile at the end of the year.

Argenbühl/Eglofs

From 21 to 27 September, the 7b students at the Argenbühl/Eglofs Community School diligently collected Green Footprints! They have been working intensively on the topic of climate change and designed some posters to motivate the other pupils and teachers of the school to pay more attention to the climate.

"But even a small group of people can help to stop climate change!"

We are delighted that class 7b are such great pioneers at the school and would be happy if their motivation and commitment next year activated more children to act in a climate-friendly way!

Congratulations on the 533 Green Footprints collected, which are now on their way to Madrid!

Freiburg

The children and some adults at the Vigelius School took part in this year's ZOOM campagne. They were able to collect a total of 538 Green, 103 Red and 37 Blue Footprints.

Of course, we are also happy about the feedback: "Thank you very much for the opportunities to participate in this beautiful project, the children participated with joy and great seriousness and we will certainly participate again next year".
Congratulations on this great result!

Isny

In Isny in the Allgäu region, just under 200 children from 6 different kindergartens participated in the ZOOM campaign for the first time ever and collected climate friendly Footprints. In total, they were able to collect 1,200 Green Footprints - impressive! Because with this number they would come all the way to Karposh in North Macedonia (as the crow flies) and could get to know our Macedonian kids on the move.

Even the local press reported about these great activities and impressive result!

Öhningen

From the Whitsun holidays onwards, the Öhningen primary school has been busy with the topics of environmental protection and sustainability throughout the summer. As a conclusion to previous project days, on which solar vehicles, vegan spreads and much more were produced, the 115 pupils and 7 teachers participated in the ZOOM campaign for three weeks from 24 June to 14 July. They collected a total of 2,731 Green Footprints and thus made an important contribution to the symbolic trip to Chile. The great and varied projects of the primary school under the motto "all day for future" can be found here.

Reilingen

In the Kindertreff Kinderhaus a group has once again made itself strong for a better climate! The topics mobility, climate change and health were worked out patiently and playfully.

"Sitting in a chair circle and counting, the children quickly realised that the car was the most frequently used means of transport. But the weeks later led to the realization that "it's much better not to drive."

"The children are not only sensitized to perhaps the most important topic of our time, they are also likely to experience that they can do a lot themselves and can tackle a lot."

We congratulate them on the 222 climate-friendly Footprints they have collected that are now on their way to Madrid and we are happy about their motivation to continue like this:

"And until next year, we will of course continue to be diligent and attentive little climate investigators!"

Reutlingen

This year, Reutlingen has participated for the third time. 5 kindergartens and 7 children's houses took part this time and collected 4,511 Green Footprints.
They truly deserved a ceremonial handover to the Lord Mayor of Reutlingen City Hall! As you can see from the pictures, it was not only the children who had fun...

Waldenbuch

The children of the Glashütte kindergarten have again collected Green Footprints this year and made various excursions during the project period. We have been told:

"Hooray - we made it!

The four footprints collection weeks had passed very quickly. With many planned activities such as indoor swimming pool visits, gym visits, goat meetings, farm visits and the final event at the sequoia trees, we were able to increase the children's ways to and from the kindergarten with Green Footprints. At the end 808 Green Footprints were collected. Our "front-runner" could collect 68 Green Footprints. Of course the overall result counts at the end. The more we participate in climate protection, the sooner we can achieve our climate targets. We would like to thank all parents who supported their children so well in collecting Green Footprints. Of course we hope that even without the green stickers the car will stay in front of the house more often".

A great feedbeck and a great achievement for the children! The 808 Green Footprints are already in the suitcase for the trip to Madrid!

Wolfschlugen

The children of the primary school Wolfschlugen collected Green, Red and Blue Footprints from 6-10 May. Altogether the little climate heroes could collect 3,445 Green Footprints this year and made a good contribution for a better climate.
The pupils of class 1b also noted their wishes for a better climate on green footprints and hung them up in a glass door for everyone to see.

Zwiefalten

The cathedral school in Zwiefalten participated for the first time. The children of grades 1 to 4 had a lot of fun collecting and affixing stickers. The topic environment and climate could motivate and sensitize the children in only a few days. The pupils were able to collect a total of 409 Green Footprints, 26 Red Footprints and 6 Blue Footprints. Congratulations and of course these collected Footprints also travel to the UN Climate Conference.
