Baden-Württemberg

Allensbach

Two institutions did not let the Corona pandemic stop them from doing their bit for the climate. 170 children from the elementary school collected 1,853 miles in three weeks and 32 children from the St. Nikolaus children's home collected 250 Footprints in one week. Together, they have thus achieved a total of 2,103 Footprints and have now sent them on their journey to Glasgow.
The "little" climate protectors achieved this great feat by taking their own legs in their hands more often, getting around on bicycles, scooters or skateboards and leaving their parents' cars at home more often.

The elementary school organized a walking bus with which the children could safely manage the way to school, in addition, the students also paid attention to their electricity consumption and implemented some saving measures. At the break time bread were now noted regional fruit and vegetables enthalen.
