Trier

452 Footprints were collected by the 110 children of the six classes of the second to fourth school year of the elementary school Trier-Quint and now they will be sent on the journey to the climate conference in Glasgow.

Covering distances by scooter is much more fun than by car, and so the children increasingly used them to get to school.

The children talked about regional and seasonal breakfast and explored its advantages. But the topic of energy was also discussed and several ideas for saving energy were discussed. The school now wants to tackle and implement some energy-saving measures directly.

This year, a total of 12,819 Footprints were collected in Trier.

In "normal" circumstances, the traditional closing event would have taken place in the Broadway movie theater. Since this was not possible due to the current situation, a film was made for the children in cooperation with the Broadway Filmtheater and Victor Beusch. A short version includes video messages from the children and a greeting from the mayor. In addition, the participating institutions were able to watch the film "The Most Dangerous Routes to School in the World - Peru" - what do you think they learned?
