Schleswig-Holstein

Bad Segeberg

The Theodor Storm School participated with four classes at the Kid's on the Move campaign. This year, 90 children collected 853 Green Footprints, 33 Red Footprints and 37 Blue Footprints. Together, they grab 923 Footprints, a really nice result!

During the campaign, the kids held trash collection days, painted posters and lerned a lot of the subject climate change and saving the environment. According to this activities, the children lerned also about the global production chain of their food.

Kiel

A stamp for more climate protection and sustainability!
For the eleventh time, Kiel is taking part in the ZOOM campaign and has come up with exactly this idea. Together with the Kiel-based company Potz-Beschriftungen, they designed a footprint stamp and attached a green ink-pad. With this idea, Kiel allows its participating institutions to use the stamps instead of the stickers to record the collected miles.
We think this alternative is wonderful, as it requires less paper, glue, paint and creates less waste. The stamps as well as the ink-pads can be reused and therefore don't have to be purchased or manufactured every year.

This initiative is great and a role model for other municipalities, keep going!
