Bredenbek

In 2022, four classes of the elementary school in Bredenbek collected a total of 1,298 miles. The classes learned about climate protection in different ways, be it during a field trip to a farm, decoration of paper feet with wishes and suggestions for politicians, or the extensive study of the UN's 17 sustainable development goals.

Elmshorn

Three groups of the day-care Ansgarstraße collected miles for the Kids for Climate campaign during the week of June 13th.

One of the participating groups were the polar bears, in which ten children gathered 115 green and 21 red miles. The ladybug group compiled miles too, and reached 179 green, 22 red and 22 blue miles with 20 children.

The paper footprints show some of the kids' suggestions to improve climate protection, such as eliminating plastic from stores and ending the production of cars.

Scharbeutz

The elementary school Ostseegrundschule Scharbeutz contributed 955 green miles to the Kids for Climate campaign this year.

2022 was the first year that Scharbeutz participated in the campaign. Ms. Heimann from the elementary school is looking forward to establishing the campaign week as a set event in the coming years!
