This year the campaign is celebrating 20 years of Green Footprints across Europe - isn't that something?!

Obvious signs of climate change like heat records, droughts, forest fires and heavy rainfalls  convince more and more schools ans kindergartens that urgent action is needed now!

There are more than 240,000 participants from over 1,600 schools and kindergartens in Austria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Poland, Sweden and in the United Arab Emirates.

They joined us on our symbolic journey to the UN Climate Conference and diligently collecting Green Footprints, Grüne Meilen, Klimameilen, Groene Voetstappen, Miglia Verdi, Grön Footprints, Klimaschritte, etc. until the end of October.

Clicking on the footprint counter shows the number of Green Footprints collected in 2023.

How many might there be at the beginning of December when the handover will take place at COP 28 in Dubai?
