The Swedish participants of the "Gå och cycla till Skolan" ("Walk and bike to school") campaign of course joined us again. This year marks the seventh time of Swedisch participation! On this note, there is a new informational video in Swedish, which explains how the project works.

For the round in 2022, a total of 291 schools registered with 34,397 students. During any two weeks in September and October, they gathered as many respoäng (travel points, divided into "Gröna, Gula och Röda Prickar") as possible by walking, cycling or taking public transport to and from school.

Together they collected 300,340 Green Footprints - thanks a lot!

The campaign, organized by Trafik Kalendern, wants to inspire pupils, parents and teachers to travel in a smarter and healthier way - simply by walking, cycling and public transport! The activity is intended for all Swedish students and educators in year F-6.

The purpose of the challenge is to not only promote the health of children and young people, but also to contribute to a better environment and road safety.
