Aschaffenburg

 

During the designated action weeks, several institutions in the area actively participated in environmental initiatives, collectively amassing a substantial number of Footprints.

 

From September 18th to 22nd, 2023, the preschool group of Kita Christuskirche, with 36 participants and parental involvement, collected valuable Footprints. Similarly, Pestalozzi Primary School, encompassing classes 1a, 1b, 1c, 2a, 2b, 2c, 3a, 3b, 3c, 4a, and 4b, engaged 282 students, with 75 parents informed, during the week of September 18th to 22nd, 2023.

 

Christian-Schad-Schule, represented by various classes, gathered approximately 200 participants in September, focusing on themes like "Gemeinsam um die eine Welt" (Together for One World) and "Mobilität in anderen Ländern" (Mobility in Other Countries).

 

Mozart Primary School, comprising students from classes 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b, 4a, and 4b, actively participated with 190 students, emphasizing global collaboration.

 

Simultaneously, Hefner-Alteneck School involved students from classes 2a, 2b, 2c, 3a, 3b, 3c, 4a, 4b, and 4c, totaling 26 to 28 students per class, with 75 parents informed about their participation.

 

In total, these 39 groups and classes, encompassing 904 participants, made commendable efforts. These groups and classes collectively gathered over 9,000 footprints, reflecting their dedicated efforts toward a more sustainable future. 



Bamberg


Also this year, schools an kindergardens in the district of Bamberg participated and all together collected 17.063 climatefriendly actions.

 

Bamberg was again strongly represented. 5 schools participated in the collection of the Green Footprints from 24.04.-28.04. on the part of the Climate and Energy Agency and came to a total of 12,360 Green Footprints.

Sincere thanks for their efforts goes also to Kita Priesendorf, Schule Walsdorf, Kita Drosendorf and Schule Breitengüßbach. Together they added another 4703 Green Footprints.


At the closing event on July 10 at the Bamberg District Office, the children received their certificates and exhibited their self-made posters:










Bayreuth, city and district

 

This year, 9 institutions from the city and district of Bayreuth participated. A total of 1,586 children collected 15,876 footprints, distributed as follows: 9,196 Green Footprints, 3,343 Blue Footprints, and 3,337 Red Footprints.  

 

In Bayreuth, Grundschule Bayreuth Lerchenbühl distributed 187 class sets, involving 8 classes and 2,459 children, collecting a total of 5,999 Green Footprints. Grundschule Bayreuth Herzoghöhe distributed 302 class sets, engaging 13 classes and 1,630 children, gathering 3,139 Footprints. Grundschule Bayreuth St. Georgen distributed 8 class sets, involving 303 children and 13 classes, collecting 3,698 Footprints.

 

In Hummeltal, Schule VS Hummeltal distributed 4.5 class sets, engaging 51 children in 3 groups, collecting 655 Footprints.

 

In Pegnitz, Grundschule Pegnitz distributed 17 class sets, involving 436 children and 17 classes, collecting 380 Footprints.

 

In Pottenstein, Graf Botho Schule distributed 7.67 class sets, engaging 210 children in 10 groups, collecting 1,905 Footprints.

 

In Warmensteinach, Evang. Kindertagesstätte Warmensteinach distributed 1.80 class sets, engaging 50 children in 2 groups, collecting 100 Footprints.



Herzogenaurach

 

In Herzogenaurach, the children have been diligently collecting Green Footprints again. This year, a total of 9 institutions participated. Approximately 1,008 children from 36 groups have diligently collected Footprints over several weeks. We are very pleased to announce that a total of 10,245 footprints have been accumulated in Herzogenaurach! 





Illertissen


In the city of Illertissen, campaign participants collected an impressive 11,163 Footprints with remarkable energy and dedication.

In addition to considering how they travel to school, the children also learned about where their fruits and vegetables come from. They recorded what was on the labels of fruits and vegetables at the supermarket in a table.

The collection of Green Footprints in Illertissen is not only a source of inspiration for adults but also an example of how even small steps can lead to positive change. The collected Green Footprints are not just a simple collection but a living testament to the awareness and commitment of Illertissen's children to the climate.

Kolbermoor

 

The elementary school Mangfallschule in Kolbermoor eagerly counted Green Footprints in the weeks before and after the Bavarian Pentecost break, which allowed them to gather quite a lot. To be precise, there are 9,310 Green Footprints from Kolbermoor in total that will make their way to the climate conference in Dubai.



Friedberg-Stätzling

In the Catholic Kindergarten St. Georg in Friedberg-Stätzling, the campaign concluded just before the Bavarian summer holidays. There, 42 children from four groups collectively gathered 672 Green Footprints – a big thank you! 





Neu-Ulm District

 

This year, four primary schools from the Neu-Ulm district participated. Mark Twain School and Weststadt School in Neu-Ulm, as well as Föhringen-Nord Primary School and Weissenhorn Süd, enthusiastically collected Green Footprints.

 

Their efforts were acknowledged during a small event. A total of 11,567 Footprints were accumulated – congratulations! 

 

 





Plaffenhofen 

 

 

 





Schwabach

 

In Schwabach, the collection of Green Footprints for this year has concluded. The Luitpoldgrundschule collected a total of 5,411 miles this year, distributed as follows: 4,682 Mobility, 380 Climate-friendly Food, and 349 Saving Energy Footprints. The free kindergarten also collected 194 miles. Impressive!
